About Coffeeshopped LLC

Coffeeshopped LLC is a company based in Austin, Texas. It consists of one person: Chadwick Wood (me). Coffeeshopped was formed in January 2010, to be a home for my different software ideas, ranging from web-based small business software (like HourPatch) to iPhone apps for business (Pouch), fun (Glory Math), and games.

Client Work

In addition to creating my own software products, I also do client work in the form of custom websites, web applications, and iPhone/iPad apps. All of my work tends to come to me via word of mouth. You can get a hold of me through my contact form.

I'm an avid Drupal developer, and it is my content management system of choice (this website is built on it). I am a very experienced front-end and back-end web developer, fluent in HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, MySQL, and Ruby. Besides Drupal, I also use Rails a lot.

More recently I've started doing some iPhone development for clients as well. I'm very comfortable developing apps quickly, leveraging Interface Builder as much as possible, and using 3rd-party libraries (I love ASIHTTPRequest and Three20 especially) to get things out the door quickly.

Chadwick's Background

I moved back to Austin in June 2009. Before that, I lived in San Francisco, where I moved at the beginning of 2005. I spent my first two years in SF as Web Developer at California College of the Arts. It was a great place to work, and allowed me to sharpen my technical skills while also getting familiar with organizing projects and communicating with clients (other departments at the school). At the beginning of 2007, I left that position to pursue full-time freelance work.

Prior to living in San Francisco, I lived in Austin for about 6 years, during which I earned my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin (and had a lot of fun too).

I grew up in San Antonio, Texas, and try to make it back at least once a year.
