Tonight marks the launch of my latest project, a website redesign for the National Lawyers Guild San Francisco Bay Area Chapter (NLGSF). Please give it a look.
NLGSF is a chapter of the larger National Lawyers Guild, an organization whose aims are:
to eliminate racism; to safeguard and strengthen the rights of workers, women, farmers and minority groups, upon whom the welfare of the entire nation depends; to maintain and protect our civil rights and liberties in the face of persistent attacks upon them; to use the law as an instrument for the protection of the people, rather than for their repression. ...to the end that human rights shall be regarded as more sacred than property interests.
The project entailed a completely new look, new site structure, and web-based tools to enable the NLGSF staff to update their site on their own. They have some very noble and lofty goals, and I was happy to be able to help out.
