Voice Editor

The Bass Station II has plenty of knobs on it. But with Patch Base, you can quickly see the structure of any sound, and you have access to every parameter, including all of those harder to edit “Function” parameters on the Bass Station II.

You can also easily edit the newer parameters from recent firmware updates, such as sub-oscillator tuning, fixed duration envelopes, and envelope re-triggering. Patch Base even gives you access to hidden parameters on the Bass Station II, allowing the sub-oscillator to be used like a third, full-featured oscillator with multiple waveshapes, and pitch and pulsewidth modulation!

Overlay Editor (AFX Mode)

Patch Base gives full editing capabilities for Overlays! You can see all of the settings for your overlays, and edit them in real-time, for a level of detail that even Novation's wonderful Components software doesn't give you.

Furthermore, you can save individual overlay keys as Bass Station II patches, as well as load voice patches from your patch library as individual overlays. These tools enable you to create complex keyboard layouts and drum setups with a library of sounds you can build over time.

Bank Editors

Back up your 128 voice patches and 8 banks of overlays to files on your iPad or Mac using Patch Base's bank editors. You can also rearrange your banks using drag and drop, just like all editors available in Patch Base.

Patch Librarian

Save patches and banks as files

Patch Base saves files as sysex that can be sent to your synth by Patch Base or any general-purpose sysex transfer app.

iCloud integration
